Getting started with a Starter account
Welcome to the Visit.org platform!
Congratulations on taking a big first step in making an impact on the world with your company. Your Starter account on the Visit.org platform lets you browse and book some of our most popular social impact experiences.
Discover experiences
When you sign in to our platform, you'll land on the Discover page. On a Starter account, you have access to our Signature Experiences collection, a handpicked selection of virtual, turnkey events hosted with hyper-local nonprofits, as well as our Project in a Box collection of ready-made projects, complete with materials and instructions, for flexible, budget-friendly impact.
Click on either collection to browse their experiences. Once you're scrolling through a collection, you can use the search bar or other available filters to find the right fit for you and your team.
Click on a card to view the experience page, where you can learn more about the experience, like what you and your team will do, what's included, the agenda, pricing, and more. When you're ready to start planning, click Request to book to start the booking process.

Book an experience
When you're ready to book an experience, click Request to Book on the experience page and follow these easy steps:

Select your date & time - Choose your preferred date, time, and time zone. You can also provide up to two alternate options in case our nonprofit partner isn’t available based on your your first choice.

Headcount - Enter the expected number of participants for your event. You can update this number up to 10 days before the event.

Additional Information - Share any details about why you're booking the experience, and include any additional comments or questions you have. These will be shared with both our team and the nonprofit partner.

Payment - Enter your payment information to submit your booking request. A temporary hold will be placed on your card for the total amount, but you won't be charged until your event is confirmed.
Note: If you prefer not to pay upfront via credit card, don't worry! Contact customersuccess@visit.org, and we can arrange invoicing terms.
Booking Confirmation Process
Once we receive your booking request, our team will confirm your preferred date and time with our nonprofit partner, we’ll reach out to discuss alternative options if needed.
After your event is confirmed, your payment method will be charged, and you'll receive a confirmation email with event details and a receipt.
Promote your event
Now that you have a confirmed event, you're ready to promote! Watch this quick intro to the event registration and management system on the Visit.org platform.
Invite others to your account
As the first person in your company to create a Visit.org account, you'll be designated as the Administrator role. This role gives you access to User Management, allowing you to invite team members or other team leads to explore and book their own social impact experiences
